Hello my beautiful friends! It has been quite some time since i’ve done a post (6 months to be exact) and I have missed it so much! To catch you all up on what’s been going on, let’s do a mini life update. After searching for a new cosmetology school to go to (because you know the one I went to went bankrupt) I found a new one to temporarily call home and it ended up being a huge blessing in disguise. I had some amazing opportunities while I was there. I graduated from said school about 3 weeks ago! My license came in the mail last week, so I can now say I am a licensed cosmetologist! Oh and my hair is much lighter now. And that pretty much sums up my big life news.
Now lets take a peek inside my makeup bag! My makeup bag essentials includes products that I can either do a super glam look, running errands or going to the gym. Most of these products are my holy-grails and I reach for them every time. My number one favorite product that’s in my bag has to be the Mario Badescu facial spray. This spray is perfect on it’s own or spritzed on top of foundation that needs a refresh. The number one foundation that I have been reaching for every time for about five months now is the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. It has coconut water, alpine rose and hyaluronic acid to soothe and hydrate my skin. I love that it gives a medium to full coverage without feeling heavy, my skin can still breath. To conceal the no sleep the night before or special surprises Tarte Shape Tape is where it’s at. This baby could cover a tattoo, that’s how high coverage it is. Fun fact: one shape tape is sold every 26 seconds. Wowza. To set everything in place Laura Mercier Translucent Powder is my girl. It locks in my foundation and concealer all day long and keeps the oils away without drying my skin out. If i’m doing a full face of makeup or some concealer and mascara I always put bronzer on and Benefit Hoola is my ride or die. I love how even just a little bit can transform my look into a healthy glow. Is glow the right word with a bronzer? Sure why not. For brows I almost always use a tinted brow gel and Benefit Gimme Brow has stollen my heart.. and my money. Urban Decay Smoky Palette is my go-to palette for any look. A smoked out eye, glitter eye, matte eye or a two-toned eye. There are endless possibilities with this baby. Urban Decay 24/7 GLIDE-ON Pencil in Demolition, I don’t even know how long I’ve been using this but I don’t plan on trying a brown eye pencil for a long time. I’ve found my one true love. And lastly, I have been loving the Lancome Definicils mascara. I love how it’s not too heavy but it’s also buildable.
